St John’s is a community school, and in that sense typical of such schools in the UK. However we serve a unique community situated in a wonderfully distinctive location.

 

The school is truly at the heart of this community; we host the Garrison Fairs, plays and concerts. The Cyprus Music Service shares a site with us and our Students contribute a great deal to musical activities around the Island.

 

Parents are welcome to join in our post 16 courses and we have many links with 55 AEC and other Garrison facilities.

 

We actively seek opportunities to engage with our Host Nation and regularly have sporting exchanges with and educational visits to, schools and other places, in the Republic of Cyprus.

 

All of our students have the opportunity to learn conversational Greek and we take full advantage of the contacts that our locally employed staff have in the wider community.
